As a teenager I had many babysitting and childcare jobs. As an adult I raised my own three children to adulthood. I have been a part-time Children's Librarians Assistant for 23 years. In that time I have planned and carried out a weekly storytime and craft or activity for children of all ages. For 25 years I worked full-time in a group home for chronically mentally ill adults, assisting them with their personal care, housekeeping, cooking, medications, etc. I also have an 8 year old grandson who lived in my home for the first 4 years of his life. I have also had experience caring for my 6 year old neice and 4 year old nephew on occasion since their births.
