I have been a nanny in Aspen Colorado since 2006 taking care of a 4 to 9-year-old boy, three of those years as a live-in nanny with the family.  Last year I relocated to Miami to help with the care of my 1 year-old nephew, but they are doing an amazing job so that gives me the chance to work for other families.  I have taken care of all ages of kids and I believe it is something I am really good at.  When I worked as a river raft guide, families were frequently assigned to my raft because the company knew that relating to children and teenagers was a strengh I had.  As an active guy I enjoy taking the kids I am caring for to the pool, beach, playgrounds and participating in outdoor activities (soccer, skate boarding, rollerblading and biking) as well as going to movies or other indoor entertainment.   I am tech savy.  I have my own car so I can drive children to and from their activities and appointments.  I am great at participating in play dates and have helped with several birthday parties.  I believe it is really important that parents and I are able to talk to each other.  I am respectful and will listen well to parent's input so that I know what matters to you.   My schedule is flexible and I am available for day and/or overnight care, live-in or live-out.  I am also able to travel with a family (I have a passport).   Meal preparation is something I have done and I can help with household chores and run errands.  I am most comfortable taking care of school aged children and teenagers and I have been told by all the families that I have worked with that relating to their children is a real strength I have.  The families will also tell you that I am reliable and hard working.  I am available year around but with school  summer vacation coming, if there is a family that needs someone to stay with their children, I would enjoy being part of your family and will make every effort to help your kids have a likeable smooth running school break.
