Naomi Z. Nanny in Seffner, FL 33584. Looking for work as a live out nanny.

Hi There,

My name is Naomi Zolton and I am 17 years old.  I’ve been raised in a loving, Christian home my entire life and have been born and raised in Florida for most of my life.  I live out on some land with several other family members.  We have lived here for about 10 years now, and love it here!  My mom has homeschooled my two sisters and myself our entire life.  Because I have been homeschooled, I have had the privilege of becoming a nanny while still in High School. I do a few online classes that I still can do while having a nanny job, which has worked out great! I have been babysitting for two years now, and have been a nanny for a few different families. My first babysitting job was for a newborn baby boy who my sister and I would care for in our home. He is now 6 years old, and my younger sister is now watching him. My first nanny job was for a 16 month old little boy.  After that, I began to care for 2 boys, ages 7 and 8, and a little girl who was 4. I cared for them in my home. Unfortunately, I was only needed during the summer, and after summer came and went, I began searching for another babysitting job.  I began working for a family who had two children, a 2 year old boy and a four year old little girl. As much as I enjoyed these children, I was not being paid as I was promised from the beginning. So I had to let that family go. I am a firm believer of honesty, and it was lacking. This wasn’t the best experience I have had babysitting, but I guess it happens! So, back I went to searching! While searching, I was busy doing date nights and random days/evenings for different families! I even had the opportunity to travel with a family, and that was great! I am now with a wonderful family with a sweet baby girl who is 8 months old. I don’t have many hours, but I so enjoy the time I get with my little peanut!

I am so thankful for all the opportunities I have had with becoming a nanny, even the not-so-great experiences! Overall, I have learned so much through it all! I have learned the importance of the responsibility you take on when caring for a child. I have learned how much the parents depend on you to take the best care of their child that you possibly can, and to show yourself reliable.  Aside from showing yourself reliable, responsible, I have found that you have to be respectful, to the parents, and to the child. Every parent is different, and it is up to you to uphold their wishes, and let yourself adjust to the way they are raising their children.

I have had experience with all ages. There is something special about each and every stage that they go through! I enjoy getting right down to their level. I find myself tempted to get right down on the floor with them. I love seeing them learn and discover new things! As much fun as it is to get down to their level, and show yourself loving and fun, I also feel it is important to show the child rules and structure!

I plan to nanny until I am married and having babies of my own, because that’s what I enjoy!
