I have a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education (UGA) and a Masterss degree in Special Education (Georgia State). When I first finished undergrad school, I taught in a preschool setting for 5 years, I floated and taught Pre-K so worked with children between the ages of infant to 5. I then was a Special Education Teacher for several years, working in both inclusion (general ed/special ed) and self-contained settings. The past 7+ years I have worked for families, the majority of the time doing behavioral work. I have worked with a variety of special needs, including Autism/Aspergers, ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, intellectual disabilites, and Downs Syndrome. I also served on the Board of Directors for the Autism Society of America - Greater Georgia Chapter and coached for the Special Olympics.  My career passion is improving the quality of life for individuals with disabilites but I also enjoy helping to improve the quality of life for all children, I truly cannot imagine being in any other line of work.
