I am a 50 year old parent of a son aged 6. I am also a professional teacher and a performing artist, as well as a Certified Nurse Assistant, (CNA). My experiences as a teacher did not only center on knowledge impartation, but also on guidance and counseling. I was a member of the counseling team in the Middle School where I taught, and successfully counseled distraught and troubled students with problems at home, by providing a friendly atmosphere where they could offload their burdens and in turn received guidance and solutions to their problems.

For two years, I was devoted to a family with three children ages 5, 3 and 1 as their nanny. I created an enabling environment which was rich and conducive for learning while they played. I taught them, fed them, clothed them, went with them to their doctor's appointments, took them to fun places and sometimes stayed with them overnight. I have a pleasant personality which makes my demeanor around children a positive one.
