Hello :) My name is Heather, I am a 26 year old military spouse who is fairly new to the island. I live in the Pearl Harbor area. I have had many years of experiene working with children ages newborn to school-age. I was previously a pre-school teacher and teacher assistant. Working both full-time and part-time, because of this I have had a lot of training in infant and child CPR, though my certifications have ran out due to me not working. I am 100% willing to go back and become recertified. I was a Nanny to my 3 cousins for just over a year. They were ages 5 months, 3 yrs, and 5 yrs. My "job" consisted of getting the kids up in the morning, fed, dressed, and getting the oldest on and off the bus, taking the middle child to and from pre-school, and caring for the infant all day, while doing light household chores. I love to be outside and do activities with the children in a safe and loving enviroment whether its going to the park, going to museums, making crafts, working on potty training, or playing hide-n-seek. I come from a large family and have babysat since I was 15 and I am excited to get back to working with children.I do prefer to watch the children in my home.I also have a petite cat who is almost a year old, she is friendly and normally is hiding away in her playhouse or upstairs, but I feel its neccessary to let you know she is there :) I have references upon request, so feel free to email me with any questions you may have!
