Hi! I am Desiree and I am working towards my Art Education degreee at Coe College. I’ve been working with kids for the past year now. I’ve done things from daycare to before and after school programs. I love doing activities with the kids and watching their faves light up when they love the activity. I am here to support you as a parent and to give your child a nurturing place to be while you’re away.

I am a currently college nursing student. I have experience working in childcare at an early elementary school, nannying, and babysitting. I am currently working at the early elementary school but I’m hoping to be a full time nanny this summer. I enjoy building connections with kids and supporting your family.

I'm currently a junior at Drake University, majoring in Health Science. On a nursing track, I plan on going to graduate school to become a pediatric nurse practitioner! I’m currently CPR certified for child, infants, and adults. I Volunteered at Minnesota Masonic Homes working with senior living as a nursing assistant, as well as helping tutor kids after school. I’m currently working as a nursing assistant for kids with long term disabilities I have experience working with kids and my love for kids made me want to become a babysitter during college.

I have coached my daughter in softball all through her elementary days. I was also a Girl Scout leader. For the last 13 years I have coached in a high school environment which would mean that I have had all my background checks and fingerprints on file with the police department. My specialty is new born - 18 months

I have been watching children in some fashion since I was 11 years old (26 years). I have been a nanny for a family in the past and it was a great experience. I have watched children from infancy into their teens and have no issues with watching multiple children at the same time. I am very organized and like to keep children occupied with activities with minimal screen time. I have two nieces and a nephew (all siblings) that I have watch since birth and still watch frequently. Their ages vary from 10 months to 7 years old. When I am watching them, I have one child home all day, one child home half days, and the eldest has school all day. This requires being able to keep the day organized and a good routine going.

Even though I am the youngest in my family, I have spent many years helping with my niece. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I work with 3-6 and 7-12 year olds mostly. I grew up helping at camp with at risk kids, I am a success coach with those kids as well. As a success coach I work with kids who aren’t having the best of times. I help them understand why they are upset and how we can work through this to have a better days. I am verified in mental health awareness for children. Running around and having a huge amount of energy is what I expect and love to have fun!
