Hello! My name is Sylvia and I am currently a full-time student at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. There I am currently majoring in special education with a minor in music. I also work part time there, as well as workign as a tutor and after school nanny. I love to work with children, and am so excited to make that my career some day. I have been babysitting for about 6 years and have experience with children ages 0-12 years old. I have seen many children grow up through my cousins and children I have babysat for 3+ years. I have experience with transporting children, bedtime, meal time, giving out medicine, homework help, and bath time. I think that interacting with the children and keeping them active and imaginitive is an important part of enertaining them. Besides babysitting, I also have experience tutoring and workign with special needs children through mentor programs at my high school, side jobs, church, and camps. In my spare time, I love to read, scrapbook, and play my instrument. I love to keep busy with friends and hang out with my family and my 2 dogs.
