I have had quite a bit of experience caring for children for many years. I babysat four children between the ages of 6 months and 8 years old for a couple on a weekly basis. I continued babysitting for them over the course of 5 years unitl the eldest child was 12 years old.
I also babysat for a single mother (5 days a week/12 hours a day) over the summer since she had a full-time job and could not be home with her three children ages 8 months to 7 years old.
I have a 4 year old cousin that was born with heart defects, a cleft lip and a cleft palate. I lived with my and aunt and uncle for a several months and helped with the special attention needed with my baby cousin on a 24/7 basis.
