I am a professional Nanny taking care for children for over 20 years.

I am a loving, kind, compassionate, caring, honest, patient, joyful and peaceful woman. I love sharing my love and my good qualities with children I am with. I am a very positive role model and children easily fall in love with me. I discipline children with heart and wisdom and when needed I use natural consequences. Our days are filled with laughter and joy. We are creating our own fun. TV and computers are not part of our daily activities. We are learning a lot about nature on our daily walks. I create routine for the children and myself to make everyone feel safe and secure knowing what to expect next. Music and stories, creative expression is also part of our routine. I can teach children how to swim, ski, skate, roller blade, bike. I alternate our activities between self-directed activities and me provided activities, between quiet activities and physical challenging activities.

Taking care of children is my joyful profession I am doing since I graduated from Early Childhood Education in Germany some 30 years ago. I am in US over 30 years ago. I raised in this country my 2 sons. Both are college graduates. I live in the same house in the same town for the past 25 years. I worked for local families and have many excellent references. I am reliable and parents often tell me that they have peace of mind leaving their children with me. I never had any accident or any unpleasant situation with the children in my care. I am with the present family for almost 8 years. I am taking care of 3 girls 4-8 years old since they were born. Soon all three girls will be full time in school and that is the reason I am on the lookout for a new family. As I said I love to be Nanny. Being a Nanny is my passion and my love.

I am looking for a family who could need my services 3 days a week Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays full time. I can work 11 - 14 hours a day and I can be available for 2 overnights from Tuesday to Wednesday and Wednesdays to Thursdays. I like to start working with infants so I can build a safe and secure relationship with the children. This of course depends of the needs of the family. I am willing to travel. I am not interested splitting whole week job with another Nanny. If the children need to be driven a family car needs to be available. I am looking for a family who could need me sometimes starting June - August 2012.

My hourly rate is $25/hour for day time hours, less for overnight. My employers pay my benefits: health insurance, paid 5 weeks vacation, 5 sick days and contribution to my IRA.
