Amy is a 10 out of 10 sitter. My sons felt immediately at ease with “Ms. Amy” who is calm and steady, but also fun and engaged. She took time to connect with my children, which was reassuring. She listened carefully during our interview, and her interactions with my sons were positive; they loved her. She provided references and her recent background check. Amy was professional, and asked solid questions to ensure her approach would align with my preferences for my sons. Will work with her again!

Hi there! I am currently a recent graduate from Towson University, looking for work as a nanny / babysitter. After receiving my degree in Psychology, I found that I was most interested in learning about child development, early education, and family studies in my courses. Caring for families has further sparked my interest in these subjects - I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old, and love doing it as my current job! I have 8+ years of experience caring for over 15 families - this experience includes children of all different ages, from infants to pre-teens. I have volunteered as a helper or "companion" for a disabled child in the past for the Montgomery County Recreational Department. I have experience volunteering at elementary schools, working with children, and have been involved in philanthropic events for Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Also, I have been involved in other volunteer work in nursing homes and fundraisers for children's medical expenses and needs for their families. I am CPR and First AID Certified (including infant, pediatric, and adult) as well.

Kristina is a awesome babysitter who is reliable, trustworthy, and great with kids! We were in a bind a few months ago because our nanny left us unexpectedly. I had about 6 weeks to go before I was going to be out on maternity leave for our second child and we needed someone to work in a part-time nanny capacity until I stopped working. We were fearful that we wouldn’t find anyone who would be reliable and trustworthy since it was a temporary position, but we were SO thankful when we met Kristina! She was amazing and willing to work with our schedules and keep up with my toddler’s routine so that the transition from our old nanny to her wasn’t super difficult for him. She communicated well and always looked for ways to enrich our son’s days— took him for walks, colored/did crafts, etc. She never relied on TV or an iPad to entertain him and she kept with his routine as much as possible. You can absolutely trust her with your kids and we can’t recommend her enough!

Sonja was a nanny for our son from 12 - 26 months. Sonja is truly an amazing nanny, and an amazing person. She has the sunniest, happiest, most joyful disposition I have seen in a person. In more than a year that she has worked at our house, I have never seen her in a bad mood. She is extremely creative, and comes up with the greatest ideas for kids' playtime. Sonja came up with fantastic crafts projects for our older son. She is a fabulous cook. Even though I did not ask her to clean, she would frequently vacuum the house because she likes everything to be neat and tidy. The kids adored her, and still do. Her generosity knows no bounds. With all this, she is also very professional and punctual. We were extremely happy, and fortunate, to have her with us.

Hi Moms and Dads thank you for visiting my profile. My name is Sherry living in Gaithersburg Md. I have worked as a babysitter /nanny for over 40yrs. I worked for family's all over Montgomery County . I have work with preemies, new-born, toddlers and school age children. I have had experience with down syndrome children and one that requires a feeding tube. As a nanny I want your child/children to know that I am there to keep them safe and give love while their parents work. I will protect them as if they are my own. I read, sing song, go out, do craft and get down on the floor, and play. I enjoy going to story time and other activities. Sorry, I don't do public pools. I have travel with my family's to other states. I even travel to Spain with one of my family and stayed for 2months. I also do short term jobs and long term. My last family I was with for 3 years. I try to to support my family's as much as I can, whether it's a emergency or something else. I like to build a bond with the kids that I take care of so they feel safe and love at all times. Yes this is a job but how can you spend time with beautiful kids and not love on them. I do have my own car seats less then 2yrs old and kept clean. They are Graco.

We have enjoyed having Sherry serve as our nanny for our little daughter. She has a calm demeanor and my daughter quickly took a liking to her and felt comfortable in her presence. Sherry is very communicative and proactive in providing useful tips to assist with overall care of our baby and pointing out areas of concern for collaboration on what the best next step would be for our daughter. We truly appreciate having her as our nanny.

Hi! My name is Christina, and I love working with children. I have experience caring for kids from 3 months to 9 years old, with the most hands-on experience in infant and toddler care. I am currently a nanny for a family with three boys, primarily responsible for their 7-month-old, whom I’ve cared for since he was 3 months old. I also previously cared for a baby girl from 5 to 9 months, as well as my twin cousins from infancy through age 1, providing about 25 hours of care per week over an 8-month period. I’m comfortable caring for up to three children at once, including elementary-aged children. I am currently seeking part-time morning babysitting positions a few days a week. My availability is 7:00 AM–2:00 PM on weekdays, and I am fully available on weekends. I currently work as a nanny in the afternoons (3:00–8:00 PM), so this would be a second position. I’m a University of Maryland graduate and a former Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I have also been CPR certified and am comfortable caring for children with special medical needs or disabilities. I am half Chinese and can speak Mandarin conversationally (I am not strong in reading and writing, but grew up speaking Chinese at home with my parents). In addition to general childcare, I can help with: -Academic tutoring (Math, English, history, etc.) - Light housekeeping - Bedtime/Bathtime routine - Meal Preparation - Driving to and from school or activities (I have my own car and 2 car seats suitable for children under 6) -Assisting with parties, playdates, or sleepovers I would describe myself as positive, reliable, and attentive. Some kids just need calm supervision after a long day, while others thrive on creative play, outdoor adventures, or educational games. I’m happy to provide both types of support and to tailor my approach to your family’s needs. Happy to provide references and any additional information that you may require!

Christina was excellent, and we would absolutely recommend her. She was extremely competent. She has experience with special needs kids and was able to be understanding and flexible with my two special needs kids. She was also warm and playful with my kids. She has training on how to use an EpiPen. I am grateful we found such a caring and competent individual.

Hello My name is Muriel I have worked with children for 11years, I have plenty of experience working in day cares and with different families. I have a CPR and First aid certification, also I have studied some child development classes. I use to nanny for many families but I took some time off to be with my little one now he is older and am ready to work full time or part time. I do have plenty of references and recommendation letters if needed. Well a little bit about me I believe when taking care of children they need attention love and plenty of imagination and fun activities so usually with me its about having a good time and following the rules the parents have left for us and safety, since that is what I instill in my own child and if someone took care of my own child I would want that person to treat him with love, be sweet to him and have fun with him while still following the rules. Well I hope that explained a little bit about myself, if you want to get in contact with me just leave me a message and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

We absolutely LOVE Licda! She has been with our family six days a week for nearly two years, caring for our son Kai since he was just 6 months old. Licda is incredibly attentive and intuitive—she has consistently adapted to Kai’s needs at every stage of his development. She is patient, warm, and gentle, while also being engaging, playful, and genuinely fun. Kai has learned so much under her care, including early chores and over 100 English words. She is also exceptionally clean, respectful, and organized—our home is often tidier when she leaves than when she arrives. Licda remembers details and follows directions with great care, even over long periods of time, which speaks to her professionalism and dedication. She is reliable, punctual, and someone we trust completely with our child. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her—we cannot recommend her highly enough.
