To quickly answer the suggested questions, Childcare is my career, and I am attending school to ensure that, details follow below.  I have been babysitting since I was 12, with a few jobs before that and watching my sisters for years, but I don't count that as experience.  I have been nannying for technically three years but I put four because mar2011-apr2012 I watched a one year old boy during the day from ~7:30am till 4:30pm and for 13-25 hours a week apr2011-june2012 I watched a second family with two children 4 and 7 that require as much energy on my part as a full time job.  So from 7:30 until 9:30 at least three days a week I did everything from breakfast and diapers to homework, dinner, and bedtime.

I am currently watching almost 2year old twins 3.5 days a week.

I have no children, and my husband and I are waiting until I am in a position where bearing my own children will not effect my career adversely.

I believe that Children should be treated with respect and freedoms, however, I do not tolerate tantrums or blatant disrespect.  I always follow parental expectations and feel it is necessary to work in unison with the parents in the raising of their children.

I am a creative young adult who is attending school for an early childhood development degree and has been caring for children since I was 12 years old. I love playing with the children of all ages and encouraging their mental development with many types of activities. I am very good at relating to whatever age and development stage an individual is at and love to encourage growth and development. I also love making lunches and do not mind cleaning up any child sized messes. I plan on running an in-home daycare in my future more than two years from now, so I am taking classes to better allow me to understand children and their development. I have never considered childcare as work, it has always been something that I look forward to. I like to be efficient and am very adaptive to situations. My biggest challenges of job are constantly coming up with new activities to keep the kids excited and learning new things every day. Although I love doing it it is the hardest part.
