My name is Alexandra. I am a college student at the University of Minnesota-Duluth majoring in Elementary Education. I have a very strong passion for children- I love watching them learn and grow. I absolutely love being outdoors. I enjoy taking walks, biking, going to the beach and just playing outside. I also enjoy doing art projects and crafts. I am also very involved in my church. I helped co-teach several religion classes with my mom, and we also volunteered in the nursery. In high school, I went on two mission trips through my church, one to St. Louis, MO, and one to Mexico. I had the opportunity to work with diverse children that lived in poverty. These experiences were eye-opening, and I learned so much from them. I have an extreme passion for children, and I love being a part of the discoveries they make and the adventures they endure throughout their lives.

During the summers of 2010 and 2011 I was a nanny for a 7 year old girl and 10 year old boy. I was responsible for making breakfast and lunch, driving them to activities and planning fun things to do each day.
