I am a patient, assertive, creative, and dependable young woman with 11 years of experience caring for children of all ages.  I have nannied and babysat for multiple families in Charlotte for the last 3.5 years. I am CPR/First Aid certified.  I am comfortable taking care of sick children and administering medication.  I also have experience caring for multiples and children with learning/developmental disorders.

I am graduating May 2013 with a B.A. in Human Services, and looking to become an extension of a family as a full-time nanny.  My major is focused in child development and helping individuals with special needs.  Many courses I have taken are unique, and enable me to feel confident in providing exceptional childcare to children in my care.  Some of these courses include child development, play therapy, parenting, marriage & family, and psychology of forgiveness.

I love actively engaging with children- reading, playing outdoors, helping with homework, engaging them in arts and crafts, taking them to activities and social events, etc. My goal is to be an active caregiver that meets the needs of each child with compassion, patience and assertiveness.
