CAN START: END OF MAY-BEGINNING OF JUNE 1st 2011
I am a graduate of Texas Tech Universtiy and coming to a transition stage to move to the Dallas area. I have a bachelors degree in Exercise Sports & Sciences with a minor in Nutritonal Sciences and American Sign Language. I am currently looking for some part time babysitting/nannying or helping out families in the area. I am very spontaneous, love interacting with kids from playing dolls to star wars to going to the pool. I love to get outside and play rather than sit infront of the TV all day long and not do anything. I have been a member of sittercity for about 6 years now and have the awesome experience to babysit for wonderful families whereever I have been for the summer or inbetween school and jobs. This past summer I started babysitting for a family in Lubbock, TX. I have had the priviledge to help raise a downsyndrome 2 year old who is blossoming each day and learning to communicate using sign language. And accompanied by her older 6 year old brother who is smarter than the average adult it seems sometimes! Ive had the experience as well in Corpus Christi, TX for a family of twins. I was a nanny for them 3 years on and off and also did part time babysitting for a single parent in Uptown Dallas Tx 2 summers ago. I have been a water safety instructor and a swim team coach for 6 years now. I have worked at the Texas Tech Rec as a personal trainer and fitness instructor as well as volunteered at different sports events. I absolutely love kids and would love to help out a family. Sarah was an excellent nanny/babysitter for my 3 children last summer through the beginning of spring this year. She was very reliable, great with the kids, and flexible. She would make meals for the kids, give baths, and even helped potty train two at one time! We hate that she moved out of state because the kids really miss "Miss Sarah". - Amanda R.
