Currently I am a young professional working full-time during regular business hours, but would like to babysit during the weekend and evening hours. I enjoy taking care of children, as I have three adorable nephews of my own. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I have a clean driving record. I have lifeguard experience in the pool and ocean setting. I have worked as a baby-sitter off and on since I was 16 years old, about ten years now. I am currently a young professional working as  a health educator at a local public health department. I have an MA in health education and promotion.

Throughout my undergraduate schooling, I worked as a nanny in Winterville for two elementary school age boys, and one middle school age girl. I have provided care for my three nephews (one is handicapped) who are now 4, 8, and 9. This care includes days of being the primary caregiver while my brother and his wife were on vacation. I have also worked as a teacher at Sandhills Children's Center in Southern Pines, NC. Here, I provided care for children ages 0-4, but primarily worked with kids ages 1 and 2 years old.

I enjoy sports, outdoor activities, games and creative/abstract thinking. As a health educator, I believe in fun and engaging activities and limited screen time (computers, TV, video games, etc.).
