Leyla M. Nanny in Astoria, NY 11105. Looking for work as a live out nanny.

I am a certified kindergarten teacher and native German speaker, with several years of experience in teaching and babysitting. In addition to that I have a degree in Musical Theatre (acting, singing, dance) and am currently getting certified in music and sound healing. I truly enjoy working with children and teach artistic German classes through art, music, movement and play (xxxx@xxxx.xxx) for kids as well as summer camps. The children are between 3 and 5 years old.

Along with the German i also speak Spanish, French and Italian - even though - since I live in the US, I practice more of my English and Spanish. I am very passionate about art (songwriting, piano, singing, arts and crafts, drawing) and love to incorporate this into the work with children. 

My experience ranges from working as a full time kindergarten/first and second grade teacher (ages 4-8) in Switzerland to working as a dance captain/theatre teacher for children as well as being a caregiver for a nanny agency and private families. My first care giver job I started in 1999 during my studies of Educational sciences (teaching degree). For the past 2 years I have been working as a part time care give for several families simultaneously (daytime, evening, weekend). My duties included:

Play indoor, outdoor activities such as park, museums, bookstores as well as taking classes (music, gym, french, swimming classes), prepare food, light house chores, giving baths, changing, caring for infant, reading books, arts and crafts. Most of the children were between 0 and 3 years old.

Currently I am located in Astoria/Queens but I am open to travel anywhere in Manhattan or further areas.
