I am a very reliable and energetic individual who comes from a big family of 11 nieces and nephews. I graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Bachelor's of Science in Education. I am certified to teach Physical Education to children grades K-12, but am also willing to work with children of any age. I have had experience caring for my own nieces and nephews (ages infant to 16 years) who I care for dearly. I have also been the primary babysitter for a 2 year old boy since he was 3 months old. I have a wonderful relationship with him and his parents (his mom was my field hockey coach at college) who I could easily consider a part of my family. While I was at college, I also cared for two young girls (age 6 months and 3 years old) when needed. When I care for children, I have two main goals. My number one goal is that they are safe at all times. My number two goal is to make sure they have fun. I may not have an extensive amount of experience in being a nanny, but I have taught physical education classes to 20+ Kindergarteners with no problem, so I know I can learn quickly and am able to adapt to any situation in a sound and professional manner.
