Rebecca V. Nanny in New York, NY 10031. Looking for work as a live out nanny.

Hello! My name is Rebecca. I am 25 years old. I live in the West 140's of Manhattan. I have 9 years of childcare experience working as a babysitter, nanny, preschool assistant, summer camp counselor, and teacher at Gymboree.

I have been with a charming family with a fiesty (almost) 4 year old daughter for over a year now but they moved to Long Island so I'm seeking a new family with 1 or 2 children to love and care after. I've effectively handled tantrums, potty training, play dates, classes, bath and bedtime, cooking, light housekeeping, laundry, and pet care.

I have been blessed with a daughter of my own, Fiodora. She was born March 17, 2011. She tags along while I am babysitting. It has been a fantastic experience to have her with me. She is very social and loves to be around other children. She has become part of the the family with the wonderful people I work for.

I have cared for children of all ages from newborn to 13 years old. Most of my experience is with younger children from newborn to 5 years old.

When I am with your child(ren) he/she will be treated with love and respect. Their safety is my number one priority. I am a fan of talking things out and never get tired of the question"why?" I work with parents to continue their style of parenting/discipline so there is consistency. Communication is key!

Besides all that "business," I love to have fun! I enjoy exploring all that this great city has to offer. I spend lots of time outdoors going to different parks/playgrounds and going for walks. Museums, story time at the library, festivals, kids concerts, and free play at an indoor play space are part of the adventure!
