Lauren B. Nanny in Syracuse, NY 13219. Looking for work as a nanny.

My name is Lauren Buerkle. I am 23 years old, and I recently graduated from Fordham University with a degree in psychology in 2009. My goal is to teach special education at the elementary level. I am currently attending graduate classes at Le Moyne College to earn my master's degree in inclusive childhood education (1-6).  Once I am certified I plan on extending my certification to include birth-kindergarten.  I currently work as a teaching assistant with students with special needs (mostly Autism) in a local elementary school.

I have been babysitting since I was in 6th grade, and I have had experience with children of all different ages and personalities. While at Fordham, I cared for many different children in Manhattan, and I was also a live-in nanny for 7 months. I have also been working with children with special needs at a respite program in Syracuse, NY (where I am from) for the past 4 years, so I also have experience working with children with special needs.  As previously mentioned I am also currently a teaching assistant for students with special needs at a local elementary school.

When describing me, people usually say I am patient, responsible, concientious, hardworking, kind, and creative. Everyone that I have worked for would be happy to provide a reference for me, and I have kept in close contact with almost every single family that I have worked with.
