Lindsay H. Nanny in Canal Winchester, OH 43110. Looking for work as a live out nanny.

Hi, my name is Lindsay Hamilton and I live in Canal Winchester with my husband of 6 years, and my 4 1/2 year old daughter.  I also have an indoor cat who is declawed, and a 10 month old Golden Retriever/German Shepard mix.  She is currently going to the All Breed Training Center for Dogs for basic obdience training.  For the past 3 years, (Dec. 2008-Jan. 2012), I have watched the same little girl in my home, (Mon-Fri), while both her Mommy and Daddy worked.  The only reason I no longer watch her, is because her Mommy has decided to stay at home with the birth of their second child. I started watching her when she was 2 months old, and met her at a La Leche  League meeting when she was 2 weeks old.  

I live in a house with a big, fenced in backyard to play in, along with 2 playsets.  My house is still babyproof and there is one extra bedroom.  We have lots of toys from infancy to preschool, high chairs, pack and play, single/double strollers, etc.  I do like to take my daughter to storytime either at the Gahanna or Southeast library, feed the ducks in Gahanna, mall, parks, Slate Run farm, walks, and I have a membership to the zoo, so we frequently go.  With an education background, I provide my daughter with a preschool experience at home from reading books, creating, cutting, practicing shapes, numbers, letters, learning to write, music, identification, sensory, etc., and also have taught the little girl I watched for over 3 years. 

I am originally from Canal Fulton, Ohio, where I attended Northwest High School, and graduated in 1994.  In December of 1999, I received my Bachelor's of Education from The University of Akron, in Akron, Ohio.  My degree is Elementary Education 1-8, with an area of concentration in Natural Science.  Upon graduating, I was a Permanent Substitute and Specified Learning Disabled (SLD)Tutor for grades 3-7, for Coventry Local School District (Akron, Ohio).  I have also taught in daycares as a toddler, preschool, Pre-K, and school-age teacher.  When my daughter was born, I planned on being a stay-at-home mom, and it has been wonderful!
