Good afternoon! My name is Carlisha Bias! I am a 26 year old, energetic, fun-loving, honest, trust-worthy woman who has a passion for teaching. I have been a kindergarten teacher for 5 years in the Baltimore City Public School district. I received my bachelors degree at Ohio Northern University in Early Childhood Education in 2005. I then moved to Maryland for a job as a teacher. I am also happy to note, that I received my Master's in Administration and Supervision of Education in April of 2009!

I bring a sense of life and energy to the school in which I teach. Along with teaching my 27 students, I am also the social chair, I plan various programs and celebrations throughout the year, I am also a dance instructor and coordinate the fashion show each year. I even have conduct a private tutoring service throughout the year with students from pre-kindergarten to the fifth grade. I have a bubbly personality, which leads to respect amongst my co-workers, and the students truly look up to me.  I truly believe that effective teachers are a child's link to a promising future!

I have been happily married for 2 years and my husband and I are trying our best to save up for a house. Having a career as a teacher, it is often difficult to find employment throughout the summer.
