I am a very loving, energetic, and fun loving person. I have a strong passion for working with and caring for children. I plan on making a future career out of this passion. I am a college student studying early childhood education. I have been babysitting various families children for 9 years. I have also spent numerous years volunteering in my church's children's ministry by working in the nursery, assisting sunday school teachers, and teaching the kindergarten class. I have worked at a summer day camp where I held the responsibilities of taking care of the children, leading and organizing activities, and serving meals. At college I had the opportunity to tutor elementary students. I got to assist them with their homework and help them improve their reading skills. It was great to be able to work with kids on this level. While attending college I have the opportunity to be a nanny over the summer and during the semester months. I have worked with various children and families at this capacity. This past fall I finished my student teaching experience in an elementary school classroom, where I learned a lot about the development of children and discipline. Children are very important to me, and I feel that they are very valuable. I love being able to invest in them with my time, energy, and love.
