Dear Parents,
I am interested in working for a great family. I would like to apply for an open position as a Nanny and for any of the other services, that, you might need help with, that are mentioned above. I am also open to the possibility of Nanny Share between two families, that is, within your local area, which includes playmates for your children, and has benefits for both the family and the nanny, just in case, this could be an option. However, this option isn't a requirement. I am looking for a long term position in a non-smoking environment. I am willing to even travel a bit for the right position, for any location that is with-in a 60 minute drive to and from the Columbus area, and that can include up to a few extra miles further out from Columbus. I am available now and I am hoping to start immediately.
I am even willing to provide childcare for your family in exchange for free housing only (and no paid salary) as long as I can still earn a salary by caring for other family's children too, in addition to caring for your own children, that would be located in your area. This has worked out well for me before, then the mother moved out of state. Please also understand, this is my profession.
I am presently working for a Westerville family as a live-out nanny, that I have been with for over a year. I currently care for a 5 year old and a 9 year old. We do lots of fun activities together that range from outside organized activities at metro parks, playground, parks, play dates with friends, story hour at the library, art and craft projects, games, baking fun, pre-k readiness, and other fun activities. At the same time I was working for this family full-time, I was also a live-in Nanny for another family until they moved to Arizona. It has worked out really well. Since my current family needs for a Nanny have changed from full-time care to very part-time care, I have recently started looking for another position to meet my financial needs. I still have the opportunity to continue to work for them, that is, until I find a new position. They typed out a great reference letter for me. I have also been a live-in Nanny prior to this position, while I was living in TX for a period of time.
I have over 20 years of experience and enjoyment working with children from infants through teens and working with several children at once. I worked in childcare centers, summer day’s camps programs and most recently during the past 3 years in home settings as a Nanny and a Mother's helper. Some of these recent Nanny positions included pet care for house pets and feeding & watering a variety of zoo and farm animals that lived on a ranch. I also worked in other home settings throughout the years as a part-time Childcare Provider and Babysitter.
I enjoy seeing children interact with each other and watching them grow developmentally in all areas. I have lots of fun ideas and educational activities to engage children in. I love to take children to fun and educational places, introducing them to fun creative movement, teaching healthy nutrition, encouraging healthy living styles and good hygiene, transporting them to and from their activities, as well as introducing fun age appropriate activities in an enthusiastic manner. Most importantly, I am very sociable, safety conscious, dependable, flexible, energetic, motivated, love to get involved and interact. I love seeing a child smile, laugh, and grow. Based on all of my experiences with young children, my enthusiasm and interests, I believe that I am qualified to provide exceptional child care in a safe, fun environment for children to learn, explore and grow.
My future career goals, is to continue being a Nanny for another long term position, and develop another long lasting great relationship with another family. I want to keep coming up with new and fun activities to engage the children in.
My recent experiences with some of my previous families.
Previously during the last 3-4 years, as a live-in Nanny and Mother's helper, I had some opportunities to work for a family of 5 home schooled children. My duties were…..I help supervised and assisted with their school work, I assisted with and supervised the children while they were doing their assigned household chores, I helped them put together a holiday play, organized fun after school activities, organized dinner theaters for the children to present to their parents of their progress of what they are learning and doing in school, and helped the children work towards winning an award for a contest for the most improved in their school work. This position was a non-salaried and volunteer only position that included only free room and board. This family was heading up a Bible radio ministry, that I found online and the programs that I was listening to, really called out to me at the time to get involve with the ministry. They are located in TX. I have a really close relationship with the children and I still stay in touch with them and send them birthday gifts every year. I received a beautiful letter from one of the children recently.
I had also had the chance to work for a family, with two children that live on a ranch with tons of farm and zoo animals and they had many house pets. I got a long great with the children and we did so many fun things together, and I had the chance to care and feed some of their variety of animals while the family were away on vacation.
Here are some examples of some fun and educational activities that I would provide for your children and engage them in….
Arts and Crafts, read children's books and stories, music, sing, dance, creative movement, educational indoor and outdoor activities and games, to also include>(circle time activities- ABCs, shapes, colors numbers, etc.), Outdoors & special outings to fun & educational places, neighborhood walks, parks, library for story hour, puppet shows, zoos, museums, apple farm, pools, and etc. (if and when applicable), Attempted kite flying several times, lots of fun games, board & card games, organized art and crafts from places that offer organized family activities, that is put on by a local teacher's store, metro parks, and or by other organized events, providing cool art projects kits from craft stores(such as sand art, stepping stones, decorating a jewelry box and plant pots), long jump rope, sidewalk chalk, baking fun (home made cookies and home made soft pretzels), reading stories, bowling, puppet shows, music hour for children from a nearby location that is offering it, checking out books and specials films from the library, trampoline, toys, outside water play, back yard inflatable water-slide, back yard inflatable baby pool, park hopping and trips to the metro parks for special organized children's events, visiting a pet store and humane society, occasionally taking them out for a treat, transporting, children for special organized events, such as: play dates with other families, to a swimming party, birthday party, to a historical site, and peddle boating. I plan to include new activities too such as. . ...Gardening kit activities
Other services that are being offered are indicated above and are also indicated in my brochures with more details.. Please see my ad for a viewing of my brochures. A few extra services, that I am willing to provide, that are worthing mentioning, that might not be included in my brochures are. . ...
.Open to recurring school yr. only positions with summers off, (as long as the holidays schedules throughout the school year is compensated in my monthly salary rate). I need to be able to count on a monthly set salary income (even if I am off duty on school holidays). However for live-in positions, I can be flexible with this.
.Summer only positions, that is, if I can find a recurring school year position.
.A full time position can even be broken down and consist of part time child care, with part time senior care, or with part time farm or garden help, or with part time pet care, feeding farm animals, and etc. (or any combination would work, all for the same family, depending on your needs).

PLEAE NOTE!-I don't have any experience in both senior care, farming and gardening, however, I am very interested in gaining experience in providing senior care (As an experienced, live-in and live-out nanny, I have a lot of skills, that, I can transfer over to senior care), and I am wanting to learn how to do farming and gardening. I am hoping that someone is willing to train me and give me the opportunity. I am also very interested in learning how to grow my own organic foods and herbs. I would even be interested in doing VOLUNTEER WORK (WITH-OUT PAY) for just gardening help only, because, I want to gain the experience and learn about it.
Some of my interests and activities include:child care; foreign languages (actively learning one right now); folk dancing; biking; some musical instruments; nature; road travel; reading; roller skating or roller blading; baking homemade sweets & homemade pretzels; latch hooking; arts and crafts kits from Hobby Lobby and Michael arts and crafts stores; teaching beginner's Israeli dancing to elementary school age children for ages 8-12; bowling; the long jump rope; board games; zoos; museums; amusement parks; theme parks; water parks & water activities; boating; parks; collecting shells and miniature knick knacks; outdoor games & activities when it isn't too hot or too cold outside; animals (esp. cats & kittens); the Bible; missions outreach ministry work that is related to my faith; children's entertainment -- including to pursue involvement as an actress in musical, make believe, educational entertainment and television/video programs geared towards ages 2-8, including programs such as; Wee Sing, Wiggles, other, and or Bible television shows for children; eating healthy organic foods, herbs and vitamins; juicing vegetables; making healthy specialty drinks; I want to learn how to garden and grow my own organic food and herbs. I am even interested in learning how to farm or living on a farm/ranch or in a rural setting (I also encourage families looking for nannies in rural and farming settings to please also contact me, as feeding animals on a ranch/farm can also be an option for me, as part of the nanny position and I love being out in the country), I am Messianic or Nazarene Bible believer and want live in obedience to YHWH, His Word and His Ways (referring to the God of Israel), I am a striving to be a follower of Yeshua (known as Jesus to others). I am used to working for families that have different beliefs than me and I don't preach my faith to the children of the families that I work for and for those positions, it has turned out to be a great family/Nanny relationship anyway. I just wanted to put that out there, as I had christian families contact me about teaching their children Biblical principles, which is also fine.
