I have been babysitting children since I was a teenager.  I have nannying experiance of one year as a live out of the home nanny.  I have watched all ages, babysitting babies from 3 months of birth up to pre-teens.  In high school I was involved in the Child Day Care/Preschool where I learned how to plan a child's day, and teach basic skills.  I have cared regularly for a number of families, including a sister and brother both under age 5, where I would stay with them during their parent's date night, I've also stayed overnight with children while parents are out of town or at an all night function.  I've cared for children with colic, and those in the process of potty training.  I volunteered in the children's wing of the hospital for just under half a year before moving to Oregon, working with children of all ages with different medical issues.  I enjoy spending time outside, reading books with children and limiting tv and video game time.  I love playing board games and encouraging chlidren to try new activies such as ice skating, soccer, and biking.
