Psychology emphasis in child development undergraduate experienced in child care and mentoring with special needs children; skilled in child development and a dedicated team player who strives to reach and work together with the families. Seeking a position to start anytime after June 8th full time either live in or live out. Will be graduating from Western Oregon University June 16th with B.S. in psychology and minor in theatre. Have been a babysitter/nanny for the past 8 years and have worked with children as young infants all through preteen years. Prefer to work with the younger children due to this is where I have the most experience. Have a passion to work with children and provide them safe but fun and enriching care while the parents are away. Believe that the parents are the child’s fist teachers and will work together with parents on discipline and other expectations you have fore the children. Enjoy taking children out and about whether it’s to the zoo, OMSI, park or other fun activities in the area. I have a dog my self who is a wonderful loving ridgeback and have experience with working with dogs and children. Currently also volunteer at Providence Center for Medically Fragile children working with them in play therapy. Also have completed an internship working in child development center and currently have two different back grounds checks that are complete and cleared one for the hospital and the other is through Child Care Division’s “Center Background Registry”.  References can be made available upon request.
