Hello! I am currently a part-time nanny for a couple families (with kids ages 1-15), but I am looking for a family who needs a wonderful nanny in the morning, ideally between 8 and noon. I'm also interested in finding a position through the summer, as my commitments with my current families end mid-Jume. In the past I have been a full-time nanny for a 2, 4, and 6 year old, as well as a part-time nanny for an awesome little 2 year old. I also currently do occasional babysitting with a 3 and 1 year old. I think structure and stability are important for all children, along with care and compassion. I have a great deal of patience and love to take advantage of teachable moments whenever I can. I also like to read, go for walks, color, be creative and silly, sing, dance, and build forts. A little more about myself: until the end of 2012, I was working at a residential treatment program for teenage boys, but decided to leave and start my search for the perfect family. About two years ago I returned from Pittsburgh, PA where I was an AmeriCorps volunteer for a year. Before that I was earning my BA in Anthropology at Linfield College and working as an Upward Bound tutor. I have been babysitting for 10 years, and absolutely love it. I've also worked in the nursery at church for 2 years, caring for infant - 4 years old. I am a responsible, reliable, mature adult that really loves kids! I hope to hear from you!
