I have had ample experience in childcare and working with children ages 0-16. I was a nanny for two children in Portland last summer ages 5 and 8 and am looking for an equally rewarding experience! I have also previously worked in day-cares and have owned/operated an art gallery and studio where I taught children's art, photography, and ceramics classes. Children and their unique and creative ways of viewing our world inspire me to be open-minded towards embracing the small moments in life. I was an adjunct photography instructor at a small university in Spearfish, SD for the past four years and have recently relocated to Portland. I have spent the past two summers in PDX and am familiar with the city and surrounding area. I enjoy being outdoors camping, hiking and biking and gardening and believe it is important for children to spend time playing and exploring their environment as well.
