I began working with children about 13 years ago working through the city of Berkley, MI as a camp counselor. Floating between the three separate camps for age groups varying between infants and toddlers to middle schoolers. I've been hooked ever since! I spent a few years studying dietary needs and nutritional education at the Western Culinary Institute and after working in kitchens for the past few years I'm looking to get back to working with children. I believe that the responsibilities inherent to being a caregiver are to help a child flourish. I play 7 instruments (ranging from guitars and ukuleles to the accordion) and have taught yoga and art classes. My caring style is to inspire children while also encouraging them to respect the world around us all. My family raised me with respect and responsibility and as I believe nannying is an extension of raising children I've always believed that installing good values into everyday life to be very important.
