I have been a Head Start teacher for 11 years, and am looking for a different challenge. I have 30 years teaching experience and have worked with all ages from infants to adults. I have done childcare for many age groups, but mostly enjoy infant through preschool age.
I raised four children and have eight grandchildren and one on the way! I love animals and have two spoiled cats. I have, in the past, been: a cub scout leader, a 4H leader, a Campfire leader and camp counselor and was in Search & Rescue.
I do not like to see children watching TV or playing video games. I love to play board games and do art and cooking projects with children. I like to see children eating healthy and getting some physical activity daily.
I write children's books and love to read and be read to!
