Samantha B. Nanny in Ardmore, PA 19003. Looking for work as a live out nanny.

Both of my nanny jobs have been for 40+ hours a week. My first nanny job involved a newborn girl in the Northern Liberties area and my second involved an almost one-year old, and that position just ended recently. The little girl was nearly two and we were having so much fun together. I'd come to love everything about her. She had an amazing personality and was truly special -- she was super-smart, verbal, energetic, vivacious, curious, very into books and the outdoors (just like me), affectionate, and had an amazing sense of humor.

I think my past employers would describe me as dedicated, warm, responsible, enthusiastic, lots of fun, energetic, outdoorsy, creative, a great problem-solver, patient, loving, nurturing, loyal, sympathetic, considerate, polite, artsy, intelligent, approachable, and hopefully other good things -- but most of all, they know I adore kids!

My philosophy is to keep children, regardless of their age, engaged mentally, socially, physically, and emotionally -- all while focusing on their happiness. I think even very young infants can be engaged in their own special way. I believe in as little television as possible. I'd prefer entertainment for children be sought out through reading books, engaging in various activities, and by the company of other children. Some structure is also needed, I think.

My goal is to form a relationship with a single family and to spend as much time with their child as possible so that I can help them learn and grow to the best of my abilities. Currently, I'm looking for a single family to work for at this point -- either full-time, or close to it (30+ hours a week).
