I recently launched a Workplace Wellness consulting business and am interested in supplementing unpredictable income with part-time dependable income. I've never actually worked as a nanny, but there is no stronger experience than being a mother. I have two young adult children, one who is a college graduate and one who is currently in college, both who are amazing examples of everything a parent could hope for, i.e hard-working, goal-oriented, happy, honest/ethical people who love life. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology and my MSW from the University of Pennsylvania and, although I only practiced in the field for two years before returning to a business career, I've used my education every day in both my business career and in my personal life. I believe children have potential to grow into wonderful adults with encouragement to be whoever they are from positive adult influences who will help them pursue interests and talents without pressure. I believe in open and honest dialogue that will strengthen children's confidence and trust, ultimately reinforcing their adult identity.
