I am currently attending Southeastern Seminary and will be graduating in May. I have my BA in Special Education (certified K-12) and (in May!) will have my MA in Intercultural Studies. On August 1st I will be traveling to China to teach English for 1 year. However, I will be living in the Charleston area (West Ashley) with my family during June and July and would love to get a job working with children. I'm originally from Charleston and absolutely love the area.
During my time in Wake Forest, I have had two AMAZING jobs. One was with a precious family. When I started they were 5 and 7. I worked as their nanny for one year until an elementary school offered me a job to work in the resource classroom. It was a difficult decision to leave the family but it has also been a joy. I absolutely love children. I have had the privilege of working with children in a variety of settings; in the classroom, medical settings, church settings, and recreational/camp settings.

I worked with two girls (ages 5-7). Responsibilities included school pickup, sports practices, appointments, cooking/cleaning, homework help, bedtime prep and recreational activities (picnics, crafts, swimming trips, park trips, play dates, etc).
