I love children and it all started when I became a big sister to 4 younger siblings. I began babysitting part time when i was 14 years old after completing a sitter class at the University Community Hospital in Tampa. Once i finished highschool I decided I wanted to attend Nursing school so oneday I could hopefully work in Pediatrics since working with children has always been my interest/specialty. I worked at Seal Swim School and taught numerous children how to swim from infants to 7 year olds and just seeing the smiles on parents faces made my day. The last two years i've been nannying for two seperate families, one family had a newborn girl which she is now 6 months old and just growing like a weed, I watched her every week Mon-Fri. The other family has a 9 year old girl, and I watched her every weekend while they traveled to tennis tournaments.

Kayla worked for our family for about 5 months and as a new mom I was very anxious about a virtual stranger coming into my home to care for my boys however from the moment I met her she eased all those concerns! She is a very kind person, full of energy, and with a true love for children! She was able to provide excellent care of my three boys, then 3 years, 1 1/2 years, and a newborn with tremendous ease. She loves to be outside, has taught my two oldest how to swim, and worked with them with various learning activities. The house was always tidy when I returned home and she did an excellent job communicating with me through out the day to assure me that all was well! Her love for children is evident and her ability to provide excellent care in such a hectic environment was amazing! - Tara B.
