Before completing my M.Ed in Elementary Education and starting a teaching job, I spent many years working with children in various capacities. I have been a nanny for a family with three girls, ages 8, 12, and 14 and as a nanny for four children ranging form 4 months to 7 years. In working with these children, I have scheduled outings, helped with school work, set up daily schedules, and worked toward emotional, physical, and intellectual goals with them.
I have also worked as a camp counselor for ages 9 to 18 for four years and was then director of said camp. Designing a sturctured environment and overseeing a staff of 10.
I love spending time with both children and animals. I am a very active person and love to be outside. I am in a very intense masters program for Elementary Education.
