Despite working with children for over 20 years, and raising 3 of my own, I still consider this my preferred profession. I work with children of all ages, and have been an Early Education teacher for 20 years. My most recent professional position was as a Head Start teacher in California, for the County of Santa Clara. Here in Dallas I held a position as a nanny for 2 boys ages 7 and 11, as well as managed the family household. Part of my job required me to replace the tutors, complete homework assignments and prepare the boys for tests and testing. I am also comfortable working with children with special needs and special challenges. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and have an abundance of college units in the Early Childhood Education field.
