I have over 15 years of experience babysitting and working with children. I have the most experience with children under the age of 5, but am comfortable with all ages up to 12 or 13. I worked at a pre-school with children aged 2-3 years and really enjoyed it. I also enjoy caring for babies, from newborn to toddlers. I especially enjoy reading with kids and instilling in them a love for reading. I volunteered with a reading program at a public library, reading books to children in both English and Spanish. I have studied Spanish for more than 8 years and can read, write and speak pretty well. I am adept at helping children with their homework and utilizing educational materials. I believe children should spend time outdoors and get plenty of exercise. I try to limit the amount of sugar I give to children and encourage them to make healthy dietary decisions. I also have no problem doing light housework and preparing meals. Most of all, I enjoy working with children. They make the world a happier place. :)
