For starters, My fiance and I recently moved our family, a 6-year-old little girl, and a 9-month-old little boy, from Illinois to Texas! I majored in child and family services at Lake Land college in Mattoon, Illinois.  Along with my schooling, and providing care for my own two children, I have worked as an infant teacher, ages newborn-15 months for the past 2 years.  Before that I was employed by a school district in Illinois as a one-on-one teachers aide in the special education department.  Over the past 8 years I've also provided care for families with children under the age of 7 over summer vacations and on and off as needed.  I am very energetic and love to get creative with the children in play and arts and crafts.  I thoroughly believe children learn through play and the exploration of their surroundings and they deserve every chance and opportunity to do so within a safe environment.  I do have references if you would like them, just let me know.  I hope for the chance to meet you and your children as well and be able to provide them with a fun, caring, learning environment.  If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask.
