Heidi M. Nanny in Annandale, VA 22003. Looking for work as a live out nanny.

I have always had a strong connection with children and believe in the value and importance of early childhood education.  I enjoy getting to know each child as an individual, finding out how they learn best, and planning learning activities accordingly.  I worked as a live in nanny for five years, then did summer care for the same family the following two years.  After that, I was a foster parent for my two year old nephew for almost two years.  I went back to working in childcare after having my daughter in 2004.  I was a preschool teacher of 2 yr olds from 2004-2010 and earned my CDA (Child Development Associate) in 2010 with an Infant/Toddler specialization. I currently work as an administrative assistant at my church and do babysitting part time for several families. I would love to find a full time nanny position, especially one involving babies and /or toddlers.   I love working with children and consider it my life's work.
