I am a substitute teacher that graduated from college. I am looking for extra income during the summer and school year to help pay off student loans. I have a ton of experience with kids. I babysat during high school for two families and I also have three younger siblings so I babysat for my parents a lot. I have also volunteered in elementary schools and had a class in high school that had me assisting a teacher in a 4th/5th grade gifted classroom.
I like to create activities and think creatively when it comes to watching children. I don't want to be a babysitter that just sits the kids in front of the television. I belive in the importance of encouraging reading. I also love to play with kids and get them outside as much as possible.
I only have one reference currently because the other family I babysat for has moved and I no longer have their contact information.
