___ Growing up in a athletic household (EVERY one of my siblings played some type of college sport), I was blessed that my first job in high school was at our local gym/dance studio. Working with over 150 young students, I quickly learned how much children are influenced by positive adult figures. Even though I am the oldest in my family, this job quickly inspired me to branch out from the sports arena and be more of a help inside the home. From countless babysitting jobs to volunteering in Sunday School at my church, it became apparent that I had a natural ability to nurture and teach children.

By the time I completed my first year of college, I was already student body President, active participant for my school's debate team, and chaired many different subcommittees. It was a great opportunity to work with state and local officials and to gain some valuable leadership skills. My favorite moment was speaking at our capital in front of several members of Congress!

During the summers between school, I worked for 3 different families. My most recent family was for two instructors at the high school where I graduated from. Our daily schedule included making the two boys breakfast/lunch, getting them ready for the day, playing with them at our local park, engaging them in various fun summer activities around the community, and then getting them ready for bed after a long-fun day!

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Quickbooks, and other various programs.
• Home Management: daily tasks, cleaning, completing errands, grocery shopping, transportation to and from school or extracurricular appointments
