I have been working with children for the past 13 years. I have been a nanny for the past 5 years. I nannied an 8-week-old for 1 year, boy/girl twins for 6 months as well as a 3-month-old and school-age children in a nanny share for 4 years. Prior to being a nanny I was an infant teacher for 1 year, teaching developmental mile-stones to children 3 months to 12 months. I was also a toddler teacher for 2 years, creating and teaching a curriculum & potty training to children 1-2-and-3. I have also volunteered with infants in my church nursery for 5 years.

I thoroughly enjoy working with children of all ages. This is my career and I enjoy educating children with age appropriate curriculum, arts and crafts and lots of outdoor time. I am very one-on-one and get down on their level to play with them as well as give them a lot of TLC!

I am very experienced with infants. I have knowledge of bottle preparation with both formula and breast milk. I understand the importance of having infants trust you and making sure each one is safe and nurtured in my care. I have worked with multiple infants at a time and enjoy educating each one and making sure each developmental milestone is met. I also have experience with toddlers and school age children both as a nanny and as a teacher. I have prepared many children for going into kindergarten making sure they could write their name and recognize shapes and colors. I have also accompanied them on many school related activities as well as planned activities for them.

I have 40 credits in the Washington State training course for child care professionals known as STARS. I have a certificate in adult-infant-child CPR/First Aid and Blood Borne Pathogens. I also have a food handler's card and I am up to date on all my vaccines (tdap included) and have a negative TB test.

So, all that being said, I hope to be able to find the right family for me! I still have a relationship with all my families after almost nine years of care and hope to have that relationship again!
