A Nanny for Multiples!!!!!!   

The toys are put away, the songs have been sung and the dreams have begun.

Being a mother of two grown sons who are both in college these days, I have some time on my hands. In fact, I've decided to work the whole "empty nest" into the next chapter of my life as a Nanny. So, here I am with loads of experience and energy, bountiful enough to benefit a family meeting the challenges of young parenthood.

I love singing and making music with whatever is available. Bringing storybook characters to life, is a favorite event. I make costumes out of nothing and a game out of a square and a round hole. I volunteered at my sons' schools teaching music to kids whose school districts wiped out the fine arts in their budgets having to depend on parents, like myself, to fill in.

I love animals and enjoy their unique language. I'm always on time and always a happy person. I will provide stability and respect for all.

I love to cook, light cleaning and have a clean driving record. I do not have car, so please know that I will walk or take the bus, until I find another car that's not the Lemon my pretty Saturn was.

I've cared for children all my life, and as a nanny, I am excited about passing on my experience and enthusiasm for the care and support of families with young children. I'm patient, consistent and trustworthy.

I love reading aloud, playing with blocks, wearing poufy hats, Thomas the Tank Engine and singing. Everyday offers new things to discover and enchant.

I've been so fortunate to have had a position in a home with a loving family. But, alas, they are moving away from Seattle and I am seeking a new position. The following would be an [ideal] fit for me. There is room for flexibility, (except for spanking).

1. A non-smoking, non-spanking household
2. A (Downtown/Capitol Hill/First Hill) Seattle family whose lives do not depend on a car
3. A family whose nutrition is of paramount importance
4. A 30-hour a week position
5. A stable environment with a family who can make a year's commitment

Before my Nanny days...

My most recent work experience has been in health care working with the elderly, (hospice, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s disease).  I’ve spent the past 10 years working with families as a massage therapist specializing in sports’ trauma, (L.A. Marathon), post operative recovery, chiropractor-referred massage therapies, neuromuscular therapies, Scoliosis therapy and Pre-Natal Massage.

My patience and attitude of flexibility are acutely appreciated when it comes to families who are going in ten different directions.

I’m looking forward to meeting wonderful and bright-eyed children who have as much to share with me as I do with them!
