I have worked as a summer nanny for children (newborn - 8 years old) throughout four years, for three families, as a babysitter since I was 12, and just helped out, before then, as I grew up in a family of six kids, all home--schooled. I have watched over up to 12 kids at once (for a small conference) and down to just one child. I have helped with MOPS meetings, taught Sunday School and am helping with AWANA meetings, mentored a small group of preteen girls, tutored children from lower-income families, and so forth.
Children are my passion; I truly enjoy caring for them, guiding them, playing with them, teaching them, and simply loving on them. There are few other joys in life that measure up to this. It is because of this, that I chose teaching as my career!

During my time as a live-in nanny, I worked with 5 children from two families, overseeing all aspects of their basic care as well as helping them develop scholastically and in their extracurricular activities.
