I am a freshman at Colby College, a private four year liberal arts college in Maine. I will be back from school on May 22, 2013. I graduated Mira Costa High School June, 2012  

I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old. I have ample experience with children ages 1-10 years old, as well as infants.

I do not currently have a full time job.

My experience includes: babysitting for a family with two children, an 8 year old girl and 5 year old boy who is described as an 'explosive child' and the family's 2 very wild and attention hungry dogs. I have also babysat over night for a family of four with children from ages 1-8 years old.

I my self have a brother 3 years my junior who I grew up helping my own mother taking care of and babysitting for. I also have two full sized dogs. 

I worked as a volunteer camp counselor at the Pediatric Therapy Network's Camp Escapades for children with special needs for two years and have won the 'volunteer of the week' award. 

I have tutored in the past for middle school students for the most part but I have also tutored freshman and sophomores in high school. I have done volunteer work as a tutor for homeless children (most commonly in elementary school) through the organization School on Wheels. 

I am the founder and event chair of the American Cancer Societies' Relay For Life Manhattan Beach. This event has taken place in Manhattan Beach in the spring of 2011 and 2012 and over the coarse of the past two years our committee has successfully made this an annual event that has thus far raised roughly $115,000.00. 

I am the varsity coxswain for the varsity crew team at Colby College, this has taught me great leadership skills, I have also learned a great deal about responsibility, dedication and the importance of solid work ethic in every aspect of life.
