I am a true animal lover. I originally wanted to major in Biology but switched over to the field of psychology because it turned out I enjoyed taking care of/playing with animals more than studying their physiology. I have owned pets since the time I was two and my parents gave me my first kitten. From that time on i had a mix of dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. I have volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind (pet sitting dogs in training while their owners were on vacation), The Marine Mammal Center (nursing seals and sea lions back to health), and for GVI making a species list on a remote reservation in the Ecuadorian Amazon.
