My name is Jaclyn DeFeo. My obsession with dogs started at a young age, when I realized the puppy in the pet shop window was much more fun than my Cabbage Patch Doll. At the age of 8, I became the proud owner of Dottie, a black Lhasa-Poo. From there the rest is history, as I’ve now started my own family with another dog lover, supporting three of our own playful children.
After graduating college in 2007, I began building my resume with experience in the publishing world. But alas, the grueling hours needed to perform interviews, edit copy and meet deadlines left me worn out at the end of the day, and more importantly, left Bella and Moe (My Pomeranian and Morkie) with an eight to ten hour day, with no exercise or outlet for their energy. Long walks, runs, and other vigorous doggie exercises were the only way to satisfy their hyperactivity, resolve behavioral problems, and most importantly, keep off weight. Needless to say a good run also did wonders for me, so much so that I’m willing to get up at 5:30 a.m. just to start off my day with a rewarding run!
