I have had pets my entire life and couldn't imagine my life without them. My husband and I have a rat terrier and a boxer. Since neither of us have children they are treated like kids. If I had the time I would have even more pets but I know better and I have (on multiple occasions) had to talk myself out of adopting more pets. I have volunteered as a dog walker at the Humane Society.

My family has always had a dog but I have had my own for 6 years. I have had cats, dogs, a horse, hamsters and fish. I am comfortable with all pets excepts snakes and spiders. I would not be able to feed a snake and I have a phobia of spiders.
