I loved being a dog walker and miss it desperately.  I lived downtown when I dog walked there, and now that I am in the suburbs, I'm not willing to make the commute.  The same amount of business isn't out here as there is downtown.  I had enough clients to keep me busy all day; I would walk from 8:00a to 6:00p.  I frequently boarded dog walking clients in my home for an extended period of time.  I have always boarded dogs in my home for friends and family when they go out of town, they become a member of my family when they stay.  If your dog is comfortable being in new places, they will have plenty of attention while you are away.  I believe your dog would not get enough stimulation if someone were to come into your home 3-4 times a day to let your dog out.  Still worried about your dog being in a new place?  Call and see your dog anytime you like via the webcam!  I have a webcam and use Skype, so if you also have a webcam and use Skype, you and your dog can be closer than ever by having daily conversations!  Your dog can see you and hear your voice, how comforting is that?  I am a stay-at-home mom and am usually home.  I have 1 daughter, 5-3/4 years old, who loves animals and is very gentle with all animals.  We have no dogs or cats of our own, but do have a 65-gallon fishtank.  I am currently working part time for Pawsitively Heaven Pet Resort in Chicago Ridge, IL; an upscale dog/cat boarding facility.  Please contact me if you have any additional questions!
