Hello! I'm a devoted animal lover who will care for your pets as if they were my own. I have worked in a vet hospital and done lots of animal rescue work. I have walked young, rambunctious Labs and helped elderly dogs up and down the stairs. I adore cats, and have cared for cats with a variety of health issues. I feel very comfortable administering medicine in a variety of forms. I’ve also sat for birds and fish and frogs and love all living creatures. I will take the extra time to make sure your pets are safe, comfortable, and have everything they need, and will leave your home looking even better than when you left!
I’ve always had animals and currently have a young Border Collie mix named Baxter and 3 kitties named Gatsby, Leila, and Simon. 3 of my 4 pets are rescues.
I moved to Greenfield a little over a year ago, and want to meet some great new clients here in the Pioneer Valley area. I love animal people!

If I could give a 10 I would! My labs absolutely LOVED Joanna and I was terrified to leave them all for the first time but they were in great hands. My puppy decided to get his paws and mouth on some not so great things that could have made him sick (not Joanna's fault!)... and she was sure to investigate the potential harm. I felt so good knowing she was around for them. If you are in need of a pet sitter... do not hesitate! I will use her again... and I won't be so afraid to leave them home. - Marjorie L.

Joanna did an amazing job taking care of our three cats. She was attentive to my needs and descriptions of tasks for while we were gone. I'm confident that everything was well taken care of while we were gone. I would definitely recommend her and will ask her to work for us again when we travel in the future. - Kyle F.

I've ALWAYS had animals. When I was a child, my parents always had (and still have) dogs and cats, and sometimes guinea pigs and parakeets. I come from a very animal-loving family. Now I'm an adult and have 4 beloved pets of my own.
1 Year as a Vet/Medical Professional
I worked at the front desk of a veterinary hospital for a year when I was younger and it gave me good experience in dealing with anxious animals and administering medicine (i.e. giving cats pills, giving IV fluids).
